When Jerry Banks, an ordinary seventh-grader from Earth, breaks into the dream world of Somnium, he's shocked to find it completely free of poverty, disease, and war.
Except . . . he sees things others' can't.
In the dream, Jerry must embark on an adventure across the clouds to keep his memories. Because Jog Logan, the creator of the world, is bent on keeping his world a secret. No matter the cost.
As the Watchers hound in on him, Jerry and his utterly naïve sheep companion seek help from Amanda Black, a reclusive mapmaker girl trying not to give the Watchers another reason to erase her family.
As this unlikely trio works together to escape back to reality, Jog Logan and his enforcers realize the problem is much bigger than they imagined. The world they're trying to preserve might already have shadows within.
